Ghrta™ (घृत) is derived from the Sanskrit word for clarified butter, one of Ayurveda's most revered healing substances. Purified three times through modern cosmetic science, it is refined until only the biocompatible lipid fractions remain.
Designed to mimic the skin’s natural lipid structure, it offers a cushioning effect, a moment of suspension where hydration is locked in before the surface sets to a velvet, semi-matte finish.

As we avoid harsh synthetic emulsifiers, the formula naturally rests in two layers: a water-based botanical layer and a ghee-based nourishment layer. Giving the bottle a gentle shake "activates" the elixir, marrying these two worlds so your skin receives a perfectly balanced dose of hydration and lipids in every drop.
With twice-daily use, one bottle is designed to last 3 months. The formula is highly concentrated, so a few drops are all you need to cover the face and neck.
It’s a hybrid! The water-phase acts as a hydrating serum, while the ghee-phase acts as a nourishing oil. For oily or combination skin, this elixir is often enough on its own. If you have very dry skin, you can layer your favorite cream on top to "lock in" the elixir’s nutrients.
Because we use Bakuchiol (a plant-based alternative) instead of traditional Retinol, our elixir is a popular choice for those looking for aging support without the safety concerns or irritation of Vitamin A derivatives. [Note: We always suggest checking with your doctor before starting new products during pregnancy.]
Unlike traditional Retinol, Bakuchiol does not increase sun sensitivity. However, to maintain the brightening results and protect your new glow, we always recommend pairing it with our Daily Mineral SPF every morning.
